Birthday Pics :)

Henry's second birthday was a blast! We had lots of family over but you would never know from the pictures. I did this last year too! I handed the camera off and totally forget to get pictures of everyone else! D'oh! Anyway, Henry began his birthday with, what else, PRESENTS! He was still a bit unsure at first but got into it quickly. He opened one present first thing in the morning. It was a book, Polar Bear Polar Bear, what do you hear? He loved it and played with it all morning. I actually had to hide it so that he would open the other presents :) Here are some pictures from his present opening extravaganza.

Opening the first present of the bunch. 

 He was so excited to see the giant stuffed elephant! He wouldn't even let anyone else hold it while he opened other presents!

 My sister Erin got Henry a light saber! I love that he is wearing his Darth Vader shirt while wielding his light saber! Thanks Auntie Zee Zee! 

Opening more presents.  Emily got him some adorable clothes with some of his favorite characters. She got him some Mickey PJs, Mickey shirt, Star Wars shirt and (ugh) the Beatles. He will look so cute in all his cool new gear! Thanks Auntie Em! 

Riiiiiiiip! 

Puzzles! Yay!  

 One of Henry's favorite things was a little plastic yo-yo thing that I got from the dollar section at Target! It really is the little things that make him happy :) 

 Opening his Bubble machine! I tried to get pictures of him using it outside but he was running so fast to try to catch the bubbles that he was just a blur! 

 We spent some time outside in the hot, hot heat where we played with the bubble machine and the cute picnic table that my mom got for him. Thanks Nana!! Look at that face! It's like he is posing :) 

 Trying to get a good family picture. That kid will not sit still! This is the best we got :) The sun makes it look like I have a horn or something! But Henry is kinda smiling so I call this a success! 

 Then it was time for cake. My sister, Erin made him a yummy white chocolate cake! Henry REALLY enjoyed everyone singing him happy birthday and blowing out the candles. He made us do it like three times! I love the pictures of me with my phone trying to get a video :) 

 I love how Henry was trying to blow out the candles. He was actually blowing down so it was hard for him to get to the candles. He did eventually get them :)

Henry had a fantastic birthday! Thank you to all our family who came over to spend time with our boy :) He truly enjoyed his birthday celebrations and was still talking about everything as I put him to bed tonight. Another great year is coming up, I just know it!!! :)
