James and Sarah's day of fun!

James and I had ourselves a baby-free day yesterday. My mom came to baby-sit and James dragged me out of the house, kicking and screaming. I wanted to spend some quality time with James but I knew I would miss the baby terribly. So we involved him in the packing process. We were going to the moon so James needed his cowboy hat. Henry wanted to try it on...

After a few tears (from mommy, not Henry) we were on our way. Liz had told us about Geocaching, so James and I decided to try that. Our first stop was very successful. James crawled under a creosote bush and found Monty Python's Black Beast of AAARGHGHG!
I found it!
Like the eyes? Just like the movie!
Oooh junk ;)
Now that we sorta knew what we were doing, we went on to stop two. However, we were not nearly as successful. We think perhaps the cache site was done before the new CVS pharmacy went up. Here's James standing in the exact coordinates... and nothing!
It was really hot, so we decided to call it quits on the Geocaching for that day.We had fun though, so we will totally be doing it again. The rest of the day has no pics but we had tons of fun. We went to BJ's, went shopping, watched movies and most importantly... SLEPT! It was so relaxing! Of course, I missed the baby soooooo much so we had to buy him a little present. Halloween is coming up soon so we decided to get him a costume. We joked when he was really little that he liked bouncing so much, he should be Tigger! So we got him this...

I love my costume! Where's my candy? :)

Go Wildcats!

Introducing the newest baby Wildcat :)

How cute is he?!?!? Great job on the pics daddy! James did this photo shoot today while I was at work. What a great surprise to come home to adorable pics of the baby :)

Henry and Daisy

Henry has discovered Daisy! I noticed it the other day when I was carrying Henry and Daisy was following us around. Henry would just periodically start laughing and I wasn't sure why as I wasn't doing anything to make him laugh. Then I noticed that he was only laughing when he spotted Daisy. So I tried to capture this interaction of a boy and his puppy on camera. It's not exactly what he had been doing earlier but it's close enough. Please ignore my silly baby voice. Enjoy!

Rollin, rollin, rollin!

A couple days ago, Henry rolled over from his back to his belly. A major accomplishment and I was majorly proud :) So tonight, he was having tummy time and he was pushing himself up onto his elbows. Which he has done before, but then he started tucking his arm under and looking lke he might roll over! Of course, I run for the Flipcam (love that thing!) and catch him figuring out how to roll the easy way from his back to his belly! Yippee!!!! Check it out. I'm still a huge dork and I don't think that will go away ANY time soon ;)

James was outside at the time and of course, I run to get him. Luckily for James, Henry decided to put on a repeat performance and rolled over two more times for daddy :) Good job Bugs!!!

Henry rolls over!

He did it!! Henry rolled over! Now of course, there is a story to this. From what I hear, babies usually roll from their bellies to their backs first because it is easier. Well no one told Henry this! A few days ago, Auntie Em had put Henry down for a nap (on his back to sleep!). When he started crying a little bit later, she went in to check on him and found him on his belly!!! Then a day or so later, James had put him down on his mat and went to go his bottle ready. When he came back, Henry was on his belly again! So neither one of them actually witnessed the event. When I heard about both these rolls, I gave Henry a speech that I am sure I will need to repeat several times in the future. I told him that he was not allowed to do any milestone events for the first time while mommy is at work, he must wait until I get home to do anything monumental. And you know what... Henry listened!!! So tonight we were playing on his mat and he started looking like he might roll over. Lucky for me, I grabbed the Flipcam just in time to catch Henry rolling over!!!!!! Please enjoy the sounds of a totally dorky mom :) I was just so happy I was home to see it and I was the first one to actually see him do it. Selfish I know, but I am his mommy!

Way to go Bugs! Momma is proud :)

New Henry pics!

I have been so bad at blogging lately. I just seem to have no time for it. And when I do have time, honestly, I'd rather sleep. Then when I finally sit down to blog, something has to annoy me, like right now, for some reason everything is underlined and I have no idea why, nor can I un-do it! Whatever. Here are some new pics of some random Henry adventures! Enjoy! :)

Henry turned two months old so you all know what that means... shots! I have been dreading this ever since he was two days old and got his heel stuck. This boy does NOT like needles!

Here's Henry BS (before shots) all happy and totally unaware of what evil things his parents are plotting.
Sweet boy :)
AS ( after shots) he is royally PISSED!
I know it looks like I am smiling here but really I'm not. I feel so bad for baby boy :(
His poor little legs after getting three (yes 3!) shots.
Henry has been very busy growing up and learning all kinds of new tricks. Now he can grab and hold on to his toys when he is playing! Quite an accomplishment!
He also likes to suck on his bottom lip while he does this. He is concentrating really hard! Look what I can do mommy!
Henry also learned how to sit in his Bumbo! (Thanks Ami!) He likes it for about ten minutes :)
Henry met his new little friend Katie, my friend Jen's little girl :)
He is such a boy! Katie just wanted to get a little closer and Henry's face is saying, mommy get this girl off of me! ;)
Henry grabbing more toys off his play mat. Look how pleased he looks :)
James can get Henry to laugh now on cue :) It is the sweetest thing ever!
Henry is getting better at enjoying tummy time. He is so close to rolling over! I try to get him to practice everyday.
He's also getting really good at lifting his head straight up!
Henry LOVES his exersaucer! (Thanks again Ami!) He loves standing so the exersacuer is perfect for him. Plus is keeps him safe and entertained while I get some stuff done.
Henry is mobile!!! Well... kind of. Check this out. He was playing on the floor and I put him down like this:
The next thing I know, he has turned himself sideways, like this!
As if that was not enough, then he turned upside down!
And finally the other way :) He did a complete 360!
Oh and here is proof that James and I made it out a few weekends ago! I was proud of myself that I went out, only texted my sister a few dozen times, danced a bunch, and stayed out till midnight! I was exhausted! Here's me and James with our friend Niki :) Good times!
Ok that does it for now, hopefully I'll blog again sometime this month and not wait quite so long!
