Last day at the beach

We had until noon to soak up as much beach fun as possible so we were up pretty early. Our first stop was the little park right by the beach that Henry loves. 

Weeeee! 

 Then it was time to hit the beach for some fun in the sun! We spent hours running after Henry going in and out of the water, building sand castles and eating (what else, dad?) Jeff Burgers!

I don't think his feet are even touching the ground! 

 Henry is learning how to splash :) 

We left around noon and Henry slept all the way to Yuma. We stopped briefly and then drove all the way back to Tucson. Henry did amazing! He watched some videos, ate some snacks and sang some songs. When we were pulling in to our neighborhood and Henry realized that we were going home, he actually started crying! He had so much fun that he didn't want to go home! He kept saying, go defeat Zurg, go to the beach! Poor thing. We'll go back... someday :) 

 Home sweet home :) Like his Mickey ears? So cute!!! 

It was a wonderful trip full of fun but it was exhausting too. I am glad to be back home. My next adventure, the wedding of my amazing friend Aimee!!! :)
